Photodigm has introduced a new product, the X-Mode DBR laser, which offers a similar extended mode hop free tuning range to the DFB with the superior attributes of the DBR. A result of Photodigm’s ongoing R&D into its products, the X- Mode DBR will operate with a continuous tuning range of greater than 2 nm when tuned by temperature or current over its entire lifetime.
